Mustafa Basgun
I. BRIEFLY…
Mustafa Basgun has been involved in the professional software development since 1999, focusing on distributed web applications (internet/intranet/extranet) on the Microsoft and AJAX platforms. He now generally programs with ASP.NET (VB.NET and C#) on the .NET framework by utilizing RDBMS with SQL Server.
His major interests are Agile Development, Object-Oriented Architecture and Project Management through all steps of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
He is living in Atlanta with his wife, Sule, and working as a consultant (senior/lead developer) for the telecommunication industry. He is currently being employed by Verizon Wireless.
II. EDUCATION
He has recently completed the certificate program of Software and Internet Security at Stanford University in 2007. He attended several trainings about .NET and SharePoint at Microsoft during the years of 2003 and 2004. Formally, he is a graduate of Middle East Technical University (Orta Dogu Teknik Universitesi) with an MS focusing on e-Learning (2001) and BS in Mathematics (1999). He completed his high school education at Ankara Science High School (Ankara Fen Lisesi) in 1996 and middle school education at Denizli Anatolian High School (Denizli Anadolu Lisesi) in 1993.
III. PAST EXPERIENCE
He held different permanent developer positions at MCI (former WorldCom), Universal, ComputerEx and Sebit (now a part of Siemens Business Services).
