Mustafa Basgun
I. BRIEFLY…
Mustafa Basgun has been involved in the professional software development since 1999, focusing on web and mobile application development on the Microsoft .NET and AJAX platforms.
His major interests are Agile Development, Object-Oriented Architecture and Project Management through all steps of Software Development Life Cycle.
He lives in Atlanta with his wife (Sule) and his son (Kerem), and works as a Technical Consultant for the telecommunication industry. He is currently being employed by Verizon Wireless as a Senior Developer.
II. EDUCATION
He has recently completed the graduate level certificate program of Software and Internet Security at Stanford University in 2007. He attended several trainings about .NET and SharePoint at Microsoft during the years of 2003 and 2004. Formally, he holds BS and MS degrees from Middle East Technical University (Orta Dogu Teknik Universitesi) in Mathematics. He completed his high school education at Ankara Science High School (Ankara Fen Lisesi) in 1996 and middle school education at Denizli Anatolian High School (Denizli Anadolu Lisesi) in 1993.
III. PAST EXPERIENCE
He held different permanent developer positions at MCI (former WorldCom), Universal, ComputerEx and Sebit (now a part of Siemens Business Services).
